Culture and Media Section
The Culture and Media Section of the Embassy is responsible for cultural relations, media engagement and public diplomacy.
In the field of culture, its main aim is to foster mutual understanding by encouraging cultural exchange between Switzerland and China. It supports Swiss artists and cultural institutions wishing to present their work in China and maintains close contacts with relevant Swiss and Chinese cultural partners.
In the field of media and communications, the Section serves as the Embassy’s main point of contact for Swiss and Chinese media and coordinates the Embassy’s media relations and spokesperson activities. It also manages the Embassy’s social media presence in China and engages with Chinese audiences through digital communication.
The Section is also responsible for implementing Presence Switzerland projects and Switzerland’s communication abroad strategy in China.
